Ellsworth A. Ferry, age 88, of the Town of Troy, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010. He was born on Nov. 8, 1921, the son of the late J. Chester and Prudence Ferry.

Ellsworth Ferry married Evelyn (nee Wolfe) on Feb. 29, 1944 at St. Paul's Parsonage in East Troy. He farmed on the family farm in the town of Troy. He also worked in construction for many years.

Ellsworth is survived by his children, Larry (Sue) Ferry of East Troy, Marilyn (Ed) Miller of Naperville, IL, Kenneth Ferry of Elkhorn, and Thomas Ferry of East Troy; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Ellsworth is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.

Ellsworth was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn on Sept. 26, 2009.

A Memorial Service for Ellsworth will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at St. James United Methodist Church 2945 Main St. East Troy, WI with Pastor Sue Leih officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service at the church.
