The Haase, Derrick, Lockwood and Mealy Families have provided quality funeral services to families of Southern Wisconsin for over three generations. In 1909 the Derrick family first started their funeral home in Lake Geneva, The Haase family entered into funeral service in Genoa City in 1953 and expanded into Twin Lakes in 1978. In 1983 Tim Lockwood founded a funeral home in Elkhorn. The merger of those four locations in 1995 formed the family owned company of Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Homes Inc. Remodeling of the Elkhorn facility in 2003 saw the addition of a crematory into the operation making this the first funeral home in Walworth County that provides its families with "on site" cremation. In 1917 the Mealy family started their funeral home in Eagle and added the Palmyra location in 2002. It was with the untimely death of Jerome "Jerry" Mealy in December of 2008 that provided the opportunity of the Mealy Funeral Homes to be purchased by the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Families and their employees. This combined family and employee owned company now includes over 170 years of experience in funeral service.We live and volunteer in our communities and are connected with the families that we serve.
